At first i only built the farm and it worked fine. Then i built my "castle" and it still worked fine. Just as i built the little wall (already taken down again in the pictures) around the set up it stopped working (no more golems spawning). i changed lots of blocks, looked at the line of sights and the capability of sleeping for the villagers ...so I built an iron farm in 1.15.1, and for some reason it doesnt work, even tho it spawned 1 iron golem before. can somebody help? p.s. I know I need 6 villagers, but it should work regardless, right? p.s.s. there are 5 blocks between the bed and the zombie Edit: the farm worked, it just needed 20 minute or so to prime upI suspect it's the easy villager mod, but I don't know. I know for an iron farm the villager has to be within 8 blocks of the zombie. The platform can be 2 blocks above the bed. The zombie has to play peekaboo with the villagers to cause a panic. That's basically it. I don't know if the villager needs a workstation or not though.
My advice would be to put down a repeating command block next to your iron farm in a creative copy of your world, program it to increase a timer in a scoreboard and then teleport away. If the timer keeps increasing then the spawn chunks are loaded. Additionally, the spawn chunks are not active if you are in the nether or the end and do not have ... i just spent 2 hours making a iron farm in minecraft, to my relief it worked! I made like 40 iron (on spawn chunk btw) and then I walked to my home assuming since on spawn chunk it would continue to work, after about 2 hours I come back and it is stalled at 52 iron. Hi guys, I built an iron farm based on a YT tutorial and something is not working at all. Eventually, the villagers of the farm are "discharged" when i'm far away (as you see in the first image). Bedrock iron farm not working. I made an iron farm in a creative test world, with the same settings as my survival world, (besides creative,) and made it the same in my survival world, since it worked in creative. its not working in survival. i moved my villagers over 100 blocks away, and nothing is linking somewhere else, i have all 10 ...the reason it works without beds for a little while is because a villager needs to sleep every once in a while to reset the systems that track being frightened and summoning golems. So without beds your farm will summon a few golems, and then stop. Edit: make sure the heads of the beds are towards the slabs/trapdoor.
